Poor vehicle maintenance and defective materials and equipment can be deadly, especially when trucks and large commercial vehicles are involved. But despite the serious nature of flawed equipment and ignored maintenance, not all companies and businesses have procedures in place to prevent accidents caused by inadequate maintenance. In addition, enforcement of such procedures can be equally important to protecting other drivers sharing the roadways and the drivers of the commercial vehicles in question.
