18 Wheeler Truck Kills Oklahoma Man in Truck Stop Parking Lot

An Oklahoma man was struck and killed by an 18 wheeler truck while walking through an I-20 truck stop parking lot on Tuesday, officials said.

Police identified the man who was killed in the truck accident at Loves truck stop, as 67-year-old Ralph Wayne Cardwell.

According to reports, Cardwell was walking toward the truck stop’s convenience store near the gas pumps, when he was struck by an 18 wheeler truck near I-20.

The big rig that struck Cardwell at the truck stop, was identified as 29-year-old Kevin Christian Rozema, a residence of Lawrenceville, Virginia. Rozema told police he did not see the man prior to hitting him in the Loves truck stop parking lot.
