33-Year-Old Doctor Killed in Pedestrian Accident in San Antonio, TX

A pedestrian accident in San Antonio claimed the life of a VA doctor, who was walking near the medical center when he was struck by an out-of-control pickup truck, police reported.
Officials identified the pedestrian killed in the fatal traffic accident in San Antonio, TX as 33-year-old Patrick Lindner Jr.
According to authorities, the driver of the pickup truck that jumped the curb, striking Lindner, did not seem to be intoxicated at the time of the tragic crash. Officials are still investigating the scene of the San Antonio fatality in an attempt to understand what may have caused the driver of the pickup to lose control of the vehicle.
The driver of the pickup truck involved was not identified.
KSAT News Reported that Lindner was transported to University Hospital, where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in VA Hospital crash in San Antonio.
