57-Year-Old Motorcyclist Struck, Killed in San Antonio Accident

A motorcycle accident in San Antonio claimed the life of a rider, when he was struck by a van on Perrin Beitel Road, police said Monday morning.
The motorcyclist who was killed was identified as 57-year-old Frederick Keicer. The accident occurred at approximately 9 a.m. and Keicer was pronounced dead at the scene of the motorcycle wreck.
The van was identified as a Global Restoration Service van, although police have not disclosed whether the driver was employed by the company named on the side of the van.
Police believe the accident occurred when the driver of the van attempted to turn left, turning in front of the motorcycle and sparking the collision. The motorcycle wreck is still under investigation.
