8-year-old Struck by Car Passing Stopped School Bus

An 8-year-old girl was hospitalized with injuries after she was struck by a car passing a stopped school bus, in Austin.

Police reported that a green colored Honda sedan attempted to pass the paused school bus, which had its lights flashing and a stop sign out.

The girl that was injured in the school bus accident was transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center. Her injuries are listed as non-life threatening.

The driver of the Honda was stopped by Travis County deputies and cited for passing a stopped school bus and failing to display a driver’s license.
