Austin Man Killed in Drunk Driving Accident on Mopac Boulevard
A drunk driving accident in North Austin left one man dead, Saturday when his Ford pickup truck was struck by another vehicle.
Police later identified the driver, who caused the accident, as 20-year-old David Wayne Sherrill. Sherrill was transported to University Medical Center, Breckenridge for the treatment of injuries he endured in the Austin DWI accident and was later charged with intoxication manslaughter, officials said.
Authorities are still investigating the drunk driving accident on Mopac Boulevard and have not yet released the identity of the man who was killed in the collision.
