Bicyclist killed on Hwy. 110 in Smith County
A bicyclist was struck and killed on Highway 110 North in Smith County early Thursday morning.
Department of Public Safety has identified the victim as 19-year-old Laqualus Green of Tyler. He was pronounced dead at the scene by county officials.
At approximately 5:50 a.m., troopers responded to the fatal crash that took place between FM 2016 and County Road 4163. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2010 Infiniti traveling northbound struck Green while he travelling in the same direction.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 49-year-old Vickie Adams, of Tyler. Adams was not injured.
