Brentwood Students, Teacher Injured in Vegas Car Crash

A car accident in Las Vegas sent three students and a teacher from Brentwood Middle School, on a school-related trip, to the hospital, officials announced on Monday.

According to police, the students and teacher were headed back to Las Vegas airport after attending an event sponsored by the national branch of Greater San Antonio After School All Stars. The group had flown into Las Vegas before driving to the skiing event in California. On their way back to McCarran International Airport, the crash sent all four people to the burn trauma unit of a local hospital with serious injuries resulting from the Las Vegas car accident.

The names of the students and the teacher have not yet been released by authorities.

The branch that sponsored the trip arranged for parents of the students to fly out to attend to the students and see them in their respective hospitals as they received treatment for injuries resulting from the accident.
