Bus Accident in Dallas on North Texas Tollway Results in Injuries

A bus accident in Dallas on the North Texas Tollway left several people injured when the driver of the bus slammed into the back of the vehicle in front of it, causing a chain reaction accident on Thursday, officials said.

One of the victims injured in the bus accident in Dallas was identified as 28-year-old Jose Sepulveda, a resident of Dallas, who was traveling on the Tollway in his Nissan when he was struck by the bus near I-35.

Officials said Sepulveda endured a broken hip, broken arm, broken leg and 11 broken ribs as a result of the bus accident in Dallas. He was transported to Parkland Hospital for the treatment of the injuries he experienced.

The driver of the bus was identified as Willie Grant, who, police said in their report, “failed to control his speed” and was driving distracted.

Other victims injured in the bus collision involving several other vehicles, were not yet identified by police.
