An 18 wheeler truck accident involving multiple passenger vehicles sent the driver of one car to the hospital with fractured bones and other injuries on Tuesday, authorities reported.

According to reports, the man who was injured was identified as 38-year-old Tyrone Huffman, a resident of Calvert, Texas.

Huffman was transported to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Hospital via helicopter, for the treatment of injures he endured in the Waco 18 wheeler accident.

Police are still investigating the truck accident, though they believe the multi-vehicle collision was sparked when one of the big rigs crashed into the other, resulting in a chain reaction of subsequent crashes.
