Cameron, Texas Collision Kills Woman, Injures Man

A car accident near Cameron, Texas left one woman dead and a man injured Sunday afternoon, when one vehicle failed to yield to right of way and the cars smashed into one another.

According to police, the accident between the Ford Focus and Dodge pickup truck took place at the intersection of U.S. Highway 77 and FM 485.

Lancaster resident, 25-year-old Tynsly Calloway-Mosley, was transported her to Central Texas Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead as a result of injuries she sustained in the car accident in Central Texas.

Bruceville resident, 41-year-old James Otis Holton, was transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple and was recently listed in good condition.

No other passengers or drivers were involved in the car accident in Central Texas and police said both passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
