Car Crash on Highway 181 Kills Two Children
A car accident near Pettus has claimed the lives of two children on Thursday afternoon on Highway 181, police said Friday.
Police identified the two children as 4-year-old Paityn Skau and 6-year-old Andren Skau, both residents of Kenedy, Texas. Department of Public Safety officials said both children may not have been wearing safety restraints at the time of the Pettus car accident.

Two other children were also passengers in Medina’s vehicle at the time of the crash. Both of those children were transported to the hospital with serious injuries resulting from the collision. Those children were identified as 7-year-old Jaiandric Skau and 15-year-old Mariah Villarreal.
