As a member of the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) for more than 12 years, Carlson Law Firm attorney in Bryan, Kathryn Knotts, has long been a supporter of the group’s efforts.
Founded in 1890, the non-profit organization focuses on preserving American history and securing America’s future through education.
“DAR members volunteer more than 250,000 hours annually to veteran patients, award thousands of dollars in scholarships and financial aid each year to students, and support schools for underserved children with annual donations exceeding one million dollars,” according to the group’s website.
Daughters of the American Revolution has more than 170,000 members across the nation and around the world. Any woman over the age of 18 who can demonstrate lineage to a patriot fighting in the American Revolution is eligible for memberships, Knotts said. CLF legal assistant, Virginia, is joining the ranks of the thousands of members as she is inducted as a new member.
With a Bryan, Tx law firm location operating from the Brazos County region since 2004, The Carlson Law Firm continues to make its mark throughout the area, participating in a variety of service projects, supporting an array of organizations and sponsoring several races that are emerging in Bryan-College Station.
Bryan personal injury attorney, Kathryn Knotts has been practicing in the area since 2010 when she transferred from the Killeen law firm location.
