Carlson Law Firm helps injured service member rebuild life
On August 8, 2014, George Wilson was traveling east in the left lane on Old Ironsides Avenue on Fort Hood when he noticed another driver travelling the wrong way down a one-way street. Wilson slowed down to warn the driver, when suddenly and without warning, a third driver crashed into the back of Wilson’s vehicle.
Due to the violent nature of the collision, the 29-year old sustained a serious back injury.
Following the incident, Wilson experienced significant pain and suffering as a result of his injuries. Forced to wear a back-brace, Wilson was no longer able to complete his on-the-job tasks, and was medically discharged from the Army at the peak of his career.
His physical strength diminished to the point where he could no longer play sports or work out like he used it.
Wilson sought out the help of the experienced team of personal injury attorneys at The Carlson Law Firm.
“The money that we were able to secure for George is helping him to rebuild. The course of his life was forever changed because of the carelessness of the at-fault driver,” explained Carlson Associate Timothy Roehrs.
“Thankfully, our justice system prevailed and he is now able to refocus and begin to rebuild. He was able to go back to school and is working again,” Roehrs added.
