College Station Woman Dies, Son Injured When Tractor Trailer and Car Collide

A two-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer on U.S. Highway 77 left one woman dead and injured her son on Tuesday near Cameron, officials said.
The driver of a 2009 Nissan Maxima, 62-year-old Habibeh Faizeullah, of College Station, was pronounced dead at the scene. Twenty-five-year-old Afzal Faizullah, the passenger in the vehicle was transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple for injuries resulting from the accident. Authorities have not released an update regarding the status of his injuries.
The Nissan, reportedly, collided with a semi-truck near FM 485 and U.S. Highway 77. The driver of the 18 wheeler truck was not injured.
