Construction Worker Killed in Hit and Run Accident on I-35

A hit and run accident on I-35 near Bellmead claimed the life of a construction worker from Houston on Tuesday morning, officials said.

Police identified the construction worker killed in the hit and run accident on I-35 as Manuel Ravis, a resident of Houston.

According to officials Revis was working for Williams Brothers Construction Company, helping with the I-35 expansion when he was struck by a semi-truck hauling a white trailer. Authorities still have not located the truck.

Witnesses told police the driver of the semi-truck never attempted to stop his vehicle.
