A cyclist, who was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on I-35 in Round Rock was identified by officials as Joseph Holan, 44, a resident of Georgetown, Texas.

Police said the father of four was traveling on an I-35 access road when he was struck from behind by a vehicle, who’s driver claimed he did not see Holan.

At the time of the Round Rock bicycle accident Holan was wearing a helmet and a reflective vest, although investigations regarding the safety equipment on his bicycle are still underway, authorities revealed.
