Rodriguez was reportedly a resident of Del Rio, Texas, authorities noted.

According to reports, the tire blowout caused Rodriguez’ vehicle 2005 Nissan truck to lose control, veering into the opposite lane of traffic and into a field near FM 1555.

As a result of the loss of control, the pickup truck landed on its roof after going airborne.

Police are still investigating the scene of the tire blowout accident in Midland County. They do not believe Rodriguez was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene of the single vehicle auto accident.
