Del Valle School Bus Accident Injures 16

A Del Valle school bus accident, involving other cars, left 13 students injured and seven more people who were driving passenger vehicles, Friday morning.
Police said all 20 people were transported to local hospitals, via as many as seven ambulances, for the treatment of their injuries. None of the injuries appeared life-threatening, authorities said.
There were reportedly 57 students on the bus at the time of the Texas collision, officials said.
Emerging reports noted that the driver of an SUV smashed into the back of the bus in a rear-ending accident. Police cite the unidentified driver of the SUV with failure to maintain assured clear distance.
Police are continuing to investigate the bus accident in Austin and have not yet released any more details or names.
