Driver’s Medical Condition Sparks Five Car Pileup

A multiple car accident in Copperas Cove left at least four people injured, with as many as five vehicles and a motorcycle involved in the Highway 190 collision last night.

According to police, the accident was sparked by a man suffering from a medical condition, causing him to crash into a motorcycle. The collision between the motorcycle caused a pile up on 190 in Copperas Cove and 4 people were transported to local hospital with resulting injuries.

Authorities have not yet revealed the names of those involved in the accident or victims injured in the collision, although the motorcyclist who was injured in the collision was identifed as a 46-year-old Copperas Cove man. He was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the car that sparked the accident was also transported to the hospital. Police identified him as a 57-year-old Copperas Cove man. He was driving a 1999 Ford Contour.

Officials said police attempted to pull the driver who caused the car accident on 190 in Copperas Cove. The unknown driver was transported to the hospital.
