Posted By The Carlson Law Firm || 13-Nov-2013
A woman, who was traveling on FM 1626 with her grandchild, was killed when a dump truck hauling sand veered into her car, smashing it into the guardrail as she appears to have attempted to avoid the Buda car accident, police reported.
The woman was identified as Trisha Marie Foulkrod, 58. The child who was in the vehicle with her was not harmed in the auto accident, authorities noted.
Police believe the driver of the dump truck lost control of his vehicle before swerving toward Foulkrod’s vehicle. Officials found her vehicle pinned against the road’s railing. The dump truck overturned as a result of the loss of control.
Authorities reported that they expected FM 1626 to be closed until the afternoon as the scene was cleared.
