Gatesville Couple Killed in Wrong-Way Accident in Amarillo
A Gatesville couple was killed Wednesday evening, when their vehicle was struck in a wrong-way accident in Amarillo, officials said.
Police identified the couple as 73-year-old David Wiseman and his wife, 66-year-old Alice Wiseman, who both passed after arriving at an Amarillo hospital, authorities reported.
The driver of the pickup truck, which struck the Wiseman’s was also killed in the car accident in Amarillo. He was identified as 88-year-old Eugene Baslar, a resident of Amarillo.
The Wiseman’s are survived by Polly Stevens, a resident of Gatesville who is well known within the community as a clerk for Justice Tom Gray at the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco.
