The victims and loved ones of rollover crashes often search for things they could have done differently to prevent the tragedy. But while inattention, texting and drugs and alcohol can sometimes be tied to a single-vehicle wreck, some of the serious, debilitating injuries resulting may have been prevented with adequate vehicle equipment.
Seatbelts, glass, roofing and proper design are just some of the pieces in a vehicle that are designed to keep occupants within a car, truck or SUV as well as protect vulnerable spaces from the impact of a crash. When defective auto equipment fails, an accident can be devastating for the victims involved and their loved ones, as they struggle to put back the pieces of their lives and rebuild.
Medical appointments, lost time at work and quality of life can all be greatly affected by injuries caused by a rollover accident.
