Killeen Man Killed in Hwy 190 Car Accident

A Killeen rollover near Fort Hood left one man dead, early Thursday morning, when the driver lost control of the vehicle on Hwy 190, officials reported.

The man who was killed was identified by police as Killeen resident, 27-year-old Jeremy Alexander Chapman. Authorities pronounced Chapman dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle endured serious injuries as a result of the Killeen car accident. That driver was identified as 27-ear-old Orvin Scott Lee, II, a resident of Killeen.

Police believe the driver may have been traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the 2000 Lexus passenger vehicle.
