Man Killed in Abilene Car Accident
A car accident in Abilene claimed the life of one man after he was transported to the hospital for the treatment of injuries he suffered in the wreck on Treadaway Boulevard.
Police identified the man as 53-year-old Lester Ware, of Abilene.
Officials say the accident took place when a Mitsubishi attempted to left onto North 10th Street, crossing into the pathway of a Mercedes. Police identified the drive of the Mitsubishi as 63-year-old William Don Huff, also a resident of Abilene.
The driver of the Mercedes was identified as 58-year-old Abilene resident, Carolyn Aks. She was not injured, police said.
Huff was transported to the hospital in good condition.
