Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Lamar
An Austin pedestrian accident claimed the life of a 60-year-old man on South Lamar Boulevard, officials reported on Wednesday morning.
The name of the victim has not yet been released but police said that the man may have been crossing at the middle of the block when he was struck by the vehicle near Lamar Square.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene of the pedestrian accident in Austin and police said they were cooperating with authorities.
