Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Waco on New Road

A Waco motorcycle accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist when he collided with a Ford pickup truck, which was pulling out from a driveway onto New Road on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The motorcyclist was identified as Robert Charles Taplin III, a resident of Waco.

According to a report published by KCEN News, Taplin was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on New Road, when the pick up truck pulled out onto the roadway. Police do not believe he was wearing a helmet.
