A multi-vehicle car accident outside of Lubbock killed two drivers and sent a 12-year-old passenger to the hospital with injuries when one driver swerved into the opposite lane of traffic, slamming into an SUV on Hwy 82 near Tokio, Texas. Another vehicle was also involved in the collision.

According to police, a Ford pickup truck crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 82, crashing into a Ford Explorer. The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The third vehicle involved was identified as a Chevy Traverse. The driver of that SUV was transported to Yoakum County Hospital for the treatment of injuries she endured in the Highway 82 accident.

The identities of those involved have not yet been released by officials. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and loved ones of those killed in this tragic auto accident.
