Odessa Man Killed in Texas Motorcycle Crash

An Odessa man is dead following a Texas motorcycle accident Sunday morning on Washington Lane, local authorities said.

According to police, Steven Kelly Thompson, 30, was traveling north on Washington when it appears, he lost control of the motorcycle while traveling at high speeds. Kelly crashed the motorcycle into a nearby fence after becoming tripped up on the railroad tracks.

Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene of the motorcycle accident. No information has been released regarding what kinds of injuries he sustained or whether he was wearing a helmet.
