A single vehicle accident on I-20 claimed the life of an oil field worker, when he, reportedly, lost control of his vehicle, police said.

Authorities identified the oil field worker as 24-year-old Leonard Lee Ramos. According to reports, Ramos was driving a Mitsubishi at the time of the rollover accident. Officials did not disclose the model of the vehicle.

Traveling eastbound on I-20, on the frontage road, Ramos appeared to leave the roadway, rolling the vehicle.

Police did not believe that Ramos was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the rollover crash.
