One Dead in Semi Truck Pileup Accident on I-35 in Bruceville-Eddy

A pile-up accident on I-35, involving as many as four semi-trucks and 12 passenger vehicles, claimed the life of at least one person and sent several other people to the hospital with injuries endured in the multi-vehicle wreck outside Waco. As many as 17 people were reportedly injured, KTWX reported.

The person that was killed in the fatal traffic accident on I-35 was, reportedly, occupying an Acura car, which became pinned beneath one of the 18 wheelers involved in the collision. Police identified the victim who was killed in the wreck as Stephen Fu, 24, of Dallas, Texas.

Police initially believed that excessive speed may have been tied to the deadly car accident in Eddy.
