One Killed, Three Injured in Brownsville Rollover Crash

A rollover accident in Brownsville sent several people to the hospital and claimed the life of one of the occupants in the single vehicle accident, officials reported.

The rollover accident involving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck occurred on Hwy 77, outside of Woodsboro, Texas, police said.

One of the passengers in the pickup truck, who was identified as 55-year-old Tseng Ho, was transported to Christus Spohn Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Three other people in the truck were injured. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 64-year-old Ruben Rios. Two other passengers in the vehicle, identified as 17-year-old Diana Schereban and 24-year-old Sally Ho, were also transported to the hospital with injuries caused by the rollover crash. Police said all three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the wreck.

According to police reports, the pickup truck was headed north on U.S. Highway 77 when the driver appeared to have lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected. The truck slid on its side before overturning and coming to a stop on its roof.
