Pedestrian Killed in San Antonio Drunk Driving Accident

A drunk driving accident in San Antonio claimed the life of a 19-year-old pedestrian late Tuesday night when the young man was struck by a suspected drunk driver near the intersection of N. St. Mary’s and Mulberry, officials reported.

The pedestrian who was killed in the tragic DWI accident was identified as Cedrych Carrisalez.

According to a report published by KSAT News, Carrisalez was pushed into the wall of a nearby building after being struck by a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Amy Humphreys.

Police charged Humphreys with intoxication manslaughter and possession of marijuana.

Carrisalez was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center for the treatment of injuries he endured in the DWI accident. He was later pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital, authorities said.

Humphreys was also transported to the hospital with injuries resulting from the drunk driving accident in San Antonio. Emergency officials reported that she had experienced a head injury resulting from the wreck.
