Pedestrian Killed in Travis County Hit-and-run Accident
A pedestrian accident in Austin on Manchaca Road claimed the life of a man who was struck while crossing the road. The driver o the vehicle that struck him fled the scene of the Austin pedestrian accident, police said.
The victim of the accident was identified as William Ralph Hicks, 69. He was pronounced dead at the scene after he was found Tuesday night.
Police are unsure what type of vehicle struck Hicks and have not yet released any identification of the suspect. Department of Public Safety officials are continuing the investigate the hit-and-run accident in Austin in an effort to reveal additional clues about who was involved.
