Police release name of driver killed in car crash
Jessica Bateman, 33, of Leander, Texas was killed early Saturday morning in a car crash on Highway 371, just south of Farmington, New Mexico.
According to a press release from the New Mexico State Police, Bateman was driving on County Road 7010 and ran a stop sign at an intersection where she was hit by a semi-truck traveling south on the highway.
Bateman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thomas Reynolds, the driver of the semi-truck, and his two passengers, were treated at the San Juan Regional Medical Center and were released from the hospital later that day.
