Rear-end Collision in Navasota Leaves 11 Injured

A rear-end collision in Navasota left at least 11 people injured, including five children, when a Chevrolet Suburban rear ended another vehicle on a roadway in front of the local Wal-Mart, officials said.

Although the names of those involved in the Navasota car accident were released, police said there were six people in the vehicle that was struck. All six were transported to a Bryan, Texas hospital via ground ambulance, authorities noted. Five of those occupants were kids.

Officials are still investigating the scene of the rear-end accident in an effort to reveal what may have sparked the collision.
