A rollover accident on Hwy 136 claimed the life of the driver of the single vehicle involved and injured the passenger, officials said.

Police revealed that the driver of the 1995 Ford F-150 pickup truck may have lost control of the vehicle and overcorrected. The vehicle overturned multiple times before landing on its tires.

Officials identified the driver of the truck as 53-year-old Timothy Joel Calvin. The passenger in the vehicle, who was injured in the rollover, was identified as 15-year-old Jeffory Purdy. Purdy was airlifted to Northwest Texas Hospital.

Police said both Calvin and Purdy were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the Texas car wreck.
