An employee at Crockett Hotel died on Wednesday night, when she fell down the elevator shaft, according to San Antonio officials.
The victim of the elevator accident at Crockett Hotel has been identified as 65-year-old Gloria Rodriguez. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene of the elevator accident.
Police did speculate that the woman fell from the sixth floor of the hotel. According to police reports, the general manager of the hotel said there had been problems with the elevator recently.
