San Antonio Man Killed in Laredo 18 Wheeler Accident

A Laredo truck accident claimed the life of the driver involved in the collision and sent five people to the hospital with injuries on Monday, police reported.

The driver of the truck was identified as 27-year-old Michael Anthony Gomez. The occupants of the other vehicle involved have not yet been identified by officials.

Authorities are still investigating the 18 wheeler accident in Laredo and have not yet determined what may have caused Gomez to lose control of the big rig.

Although an update regarding the conditions of the occupants in the other vehicle has not yet been released, emergency officials said their injuries appeared non-life threatening.
