San Antonio Man Killed in Midland Truck Accident on Hwy 349

A truck accident in Midland, Texas claimed the life of a San Antonio man on Wednesday, when the vehicle he was driving collided with an 18 wheeler truck, officials reported.
Police identified the man that was killed as 50-year-old Lance Schneider, a resident of San Antonio.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Schneider was pronounced dead at the scene of the Midland, Texas truck accident on Hwy 349.
Another occupant in the vehicle was identified as 22-year-old Dannie Schlag. Police said Schlag was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated for serious injuries.
Both men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the truck crash on Hwy 349. The truck driver involved in the collision was not injured, officials reported.
Police are still investigating what may have caused the collision.
