San Antonio Man Pushed into Traffic, Killed in Hit and Run

A man died early Thursday morning, when he was pushed into traffic, where he was struck by a vehicle that drove away from the scene of the San Antonio hit and run accident.
Police identified 26-year-old Douglas Mitchell as the victim of the accident. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to officials, Jacob Granado, who allegedly pushed Mitchell into traffic, was charged for his role in the death of the victim, although, he is not cited as a lone suspect in the accident. Police are still searching for the vehicle that struck Mitchell after the driver fled the scene of the San Antonio fatality.
Authorities said the driver will likely be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
