Semi-Truck Collides With Car in Waco, Traps Driver

A collision between a Dodge and a tractor trailer, in Waco, left the driver of the passenger car trapped within the vehicle Thursday afternoon.

Firefighter used the jaws-of-life to free the man from his vehicle.

Officials reported that the 18 wheeler truck smashed into the Dodge as the truck’s driver was making a turn onto Waco Drive. The driver of the car was traveling southbound on Valley Mills Drive.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. The truck driver was not injured in the Waco tractor trailer collision.

The extent of the man’s injuries have not yet been updated and the names of those involved in the Waco 18 wheeler accident have not been released.
