Single Vehicle Rollover Kills Cotulla Woman

A single-vehicle rollover accident left a Cotulla woman dead, after she lost control of her pickup truck, causing it to roll several times.

The pickup’s driver, 43-year-old Noemi Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene of the rollover accident on I-35, on Saturday night. Ramirez was traveling alone when the accident occurred. No other cars were involved and no one else was injured.

When considering car accidents in Texas, it can be easy to focus in on collisions with other vehicles. But rollover accidents can easily occur, even when only one car, truck or SUV is involved.

When a vehicle becomes tripped up on debris, road hazards, guardrails or other material or surfaces, a rollover may ensue, especially among vehicles with a higher center of gravity.

Roads should be cleared of road hazards, material remaining from previous wrecks on the roadways and materials that could be dangerous for other vehicles, creating the potential for an SUV for truck to become tripped up and roll.
