Pedestrian accidents can be some of the most devastating, causing serious injuries and death because of the lack of protection pedestrians have against much larger and more powerful vehicles. In addition, many pedestrian accidents and bicycle accidents catch victims by surprise, occurring from the rear and giving them very little time to react.
