Teen Killed in San Antonio Truck Accident on Loop 410
A San Antonio 18 wheeler accident left a local high school student dead on Wednesday when the teen slowed down while traveling north on Loop 410, police revealed.
The teen, who was killed in the truck accident on Loop 410 in San Antonio, was identified as 16-year-old Leslie Avalos, a high school student at Wagner High School, her sister told KSAT News.
Police said Avalos was driving a Ford Mustang at the time of the semi-truck rear-end accident in San Antonio. As a result of the impact, Avalos’ Mustang was smashed into the vehicle ahead of her, identified as a BMW. The BMW was driven by Avalos’ father.
No one else was injured in the truck accident on Loop 410 near Southcross Blvd.
Police said Avalos was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the rear-end collision.
