Temple Dump Truck Accident Victim Identified

A dump truck accident in Temple claimed the life of Rogers man who was a passenger in a minivan involved in the collision on FM 93 and South 31st Street on Friday, April 13th, officials reported.
Police identified the passenger of the minivan who was killed in the Temple dump truck accident as 53-year-old Vance Edsel, a resident of Rogers.
According to reports, Edsel was transported to Scott & White for the treatment of injuries incurred in the truck accident in Bell County. He later passed away as a result of those injuries, police said.
Authorities are still investigating the accident and uncovering what may have sparked the accident. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
A dog was also killed in the Texas crash, police revealed.
