An overturned 18 wheeler truck injured two people in Mesquite, Texas, Thursday morning, Texas Department of Public Safety representatives said.

The 18 wheeler truck injuries were stemmed by the out of control truck, which rolled to its side and hit a concrete pillar before igniting into flames. Emergency crews helped the driver escape from the tractor trailer accident.

A passenger in the semi-truck accident was also pulled from the wreckage and rushed to a hospital nearby, according to officials. The status of the passenger and driver’s injuries is unknown and their identities have not yet been revealed.

The truck was reportedly loaded with chicken, which was thrown across the interstate during the 18 wheeler truck accident.
