Carlson Gives 140 Thanksgiving Meals to Round Rock Families

The Carlson Law Firm Continues Statewide Mission to Give This Holiday Season in Round Rock

The Carlson Law Firm’s Round Rock office held a successful Carlson Cares Thanksgiving in a Basket giveaway. The firm provided 140 Thanksgiving baskets to area families, ensuring a warm and joyful celebration.

“Helping hundreds of people have a complete Thanksgiving Dinner on the table this year is a benefit of having 16 offices throughout Texas,” said Managing Partner Craig Carlson. “We can reach several communities and help hundreds—maybe even thousands more people than if we were one office in some distant city. By being in these communities and blessing families with a complete Thanksgiving meal—including a gift card to pick out their own turkey—we hope people truly understand how much The Carlson Law Firm cares about helping people.”

Each basket, also including an insulated tote and reusable food container, was thoughtfully packed with all the essential fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including:

  • Can of pumpkin
  • Pie crust
  • Brown gravy
  • Stove Top stuffing
  • Green beans
  • Corn
  • Mashed potatoes
  • A $30 HEB gift card for purchasing a turkey, rolls and other holiday items

“This year’s event was especially meaningful for the entire Round Rock team this year,” said attorney Cheryl Powell. “The holidays can be challenging for many, and our goal was to alleviate some of that pressure and spread some holiday cheer. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to give back to the Round Rock community and help families enjoy a memorable Thanksgiving.”

The firm also donated an additional 20 Thanksgiving dinners to the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation.

The Thanksgiving in a Basket giveaway is part of The Carlson Law Firm’s broader Carlson Cares initiative, which focuses on giving back to the community through various charitable acts and events throughout the year. The firm’s dedication to community involvement and support exemplifies its commitment to legal excellence and positively impacting people’s lives.
