Three Injured in Austin Construction Accident
Three workers were injured in a construction accident on a West Campus site, causing one of the men to endure serious head injuries on Wednesday, officials said.
Authorities believe they fell approximately 10 to 20 feet from a structure on a site, where they were subcontractors. All three workers were transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge for injuries they endured in the construction accident.
The contracting company responsible for the building taking place on the construction site was identified as Hensel Phelps.
Officials have not yet identified the victims injured in the workplace accident in Austin.
