Three men were killed in a fatal head on collision involving two vehicles in Holiday Beach, Texas, Department of Public Safety officials said.
Reports noted that the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche swerved into the opposite lane of traffic, smashing into a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Riley Holladay, 18, was identified as the driver of the Avalanche. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Ford truck was identified as Travis Threadgill, of Rockport. His passenger was listed as 25-year-old Christopher Keith, of Port Lavaca. Both the Ford and Avalanche burst into flames upon impact, killing all three men.
Police are looking into whether speed was a factor in the crash, causing Holladay to lose control of the vehicle.
